Brobot L-Type from Super Paper Mario

Brobot L-Type is the new and improved version of Mr. L's gigantic robot, Brobot, it serves as the main Chapter boss of Chapter 6, it the second/final boss of Chapter 6-2 and is overall the twelfth boss of Super Paper Mario.

Summery[]

In Chapter 6-1, after the Sammer's Kingdom gets destroyed by The Void, Mr. L appears in the new World of Nothing, and after optioning the pure heart, He then summons Brobot L-Type and begins a duel with Mario, Bowser, and Princess Peach, tho despite its improvements, it was defeated.

Attacks[]

Mr. L's new improved Brobot L-Type has arms and legs this time and is more powerful, it retains its ability to swallow Mario, fire missles from its noes and fire a light green colored energy laser from its eyes, but now Brobot L-Type can fire rocket punches at Mario and Co, and can even preform a ground pound. Oddly, Brobot L-type has less health than the original Brobot, only 64, while the latter has 255.

Strategy[]

For this battle, all the Player has to do is use Boomer and have it blow up near Brobot L-Type's feet to deal damage to it, all the while avoiding Brobot L-Type's attacks.

Trivia[]

  • The name Brobot is a pun on robot with bro referring to the fact that Mario and Luigi are brothers.
  • Brobot L-Type's 64 HP may be a reference to the Nintendo 64, and the Mario game, Super Mario 64.
  • The gigantic robot is a reference to the anime, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, with the head being a what the guide to robots is a "lagann" class mech (a mech that has the height ratio from 1 meter to 8 meters.
  • The reason why Brobot L-type has less health than the original is because Brobot L-Type deals a larger amount of damage, negating a larger amount of health.
    • The other reason Brobot L-Type has less health is due to the nature of the two battles, the first battle against Brobot had Squirps, which can deal high damage, while the second battle against Brobot L-Type doesn't have Squirps, so it would have made the battle longer.
  • Testing showed that Brobot L-Type will still take twelfth damage by Boomer even if Mario has an attack power of only two.
