Dupree is a quirky character who frequently appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is a Doogan with a French accent. He tries to sweet-talk and flirt with the women he meets but seems to be unsuccessful every time.
During Chapters 1 and 2, Dupree attempts to flirt with Goombella, who is disgusted with his flirting attempts. In Chapter 4, he is turned into a pig like many of the other villagers in Twilight Town, and the shopkeeper mistakes his pig form for her husband. Once he is turned back, the shopkeeper is seen arguing with her husband about the misconception. Next, he appears in the hotel found in Poshley Heights, and once more in the Fahr Outpost Inn. He attempts to flirt with the Innkeeper and gets himself kicked out. After the Shadow Queen has been defeated, Dupree resides in Keelhaul Key for the rest of the game.
