Fuzzipede is a slightly different version of the Fuzzy seen at Toad Town Harbor. He has a bad temper due to his frequently bad luck. Usually he's used as bait to catch fish. Later in the story, he accidentally gets swallowed by a whale while he slept with his mouth open and Mario and Watt are forced to fight him. After they beat him, the whale shoots the three out his blowhole. Fuzzipede scolds the whale, but later apologizes and explains he keeps running into trouble. He is still found in the harbor, but he's nowhere near the fishermen.
