Ultrahammer 2

The Ultra Hammer is the second upgrade to the Hammer which can be acquired in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is superior to even the Super Hammer, and can do more damage in battles as well as being able to break more types of blocks than the regular Hammer and Super Hammer. In both games, it is the final upgrade to the Hammer.

How to obtain[]

The Ultra Hammer is found at Mt. Lavalava.

Ability in field []

It can break all blocks, including Metal BlocksStone Blocks, and Yellow Blocks.

Ability in battle[]

The Ultra Hammer's base attack power is five, two more than the Super Hammer and four more than the regular Hammer. Correctly inputting the action command will increase its power by one more point.

How to obtain[]

It is in a chest located in Rogueport, and, although it is visible from the start of the game, it is impossible to obtain without the use of the Ultra BootsSpring Jump, which is obtained during Chapter 6.

Ability in field[]

The Ultra Hammer is able to destroy Stone Blocks as well as Yellow Blocks. The Super Hammer's ability didn't change, so functionality essentially stays the same. However, it still cannot break Metal Blocks.

Ability in battle[]

The Ultra Hammer's base attack power is five, two more than the Super Hammer and four more than the regular Hammer. Correctly inputting the action command will increase its power by one more point.

In addition to the increased attack power and the Super Hammer's special attack, an attack called the "Ultra Hammer" can be used. It is an upgraded version of Super Hammer attack which does more damage, as well as doing exactly three damage to all enemies the stricken enemy collides with, and the Action Command gauge is longer than the Super Hammer attack's gauge.

  • The Ultra Hammer resembles the Golden Hammer from Wrecking Crew.
