Fleep's powers let him flip the background, phasing hidden objects from one dimension into the one the player is currently in; his name is even a pun on the word "flip". Also, the ability can be used to stun enemies, confusing them into submission for a short while. This effect can also be used on projectile attacks, rendering them harmless. Fleep has the ability to allow the player to reverse a section of the screen at will. Whenever a sparkling rift is seen, Fleep can check whatever is behind it. The ability to reveal hidden objects to the player is similar to Flurrie's powers in the previous Paper Mario game, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
When the player first meets Fleep, he is in an outhouse on Planet Blobule. The player must then retrieve him some paper so he can "clean up", therefore the three heroes acquire the Ancient Clue paper from Blappy. After Fleep comes out of the outhouse, he pledges himself to Mario's team. He likes to sing while on the toilet, and speaks with a Spanish/Spanglish accent.
Catch Card Type: Rare
Catch Card Description: This flippy Pixl is really good at finding hidden goodies. Without you, he never would've left that outhouse...
- He is the 2nd least used pixl in the game besides Piccolo, who is only used for easter eggs.
