|Tattle||That's Gus. He's super-annoying and tries to take tolls from everyone. All in all, he's pretty tough. Oh, and I've told you a million times...that pointy spear of his hurts if you stomp on it. I wonder if this guy watches people pass 365 days a year. Talk about a workaholic. / That's Gus. He's part of the band of thieves who call themselves the the Robbos. He looks like a total maniac, but he's actually a nice guy. Don't judge books by covers!|
Gus is a member of the Robbo Gang on the east side of Rogueport. He is also an optional mini-boss that Mario can fight. He guards the entrance to his gang's territory and will charge anyone that wants to pass 10 coins. Of course, you can always pay or not pass, but you can also fight Gus, which is recommended so that Mario can gain control of the east side for free throughout the whole game. Gus and Mario have a comical conversation if Mario decides to fight him and wins.
There a enemy named Dark Craw that look like gus but it not a mini-boss.
