"Here come the Koopa Bros.!"

-The Koopa Bros.

The Koopa Bros. are a quartet of ninja-costumed Koopa Troopas, and are an obvious spoof of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Mario encounters them at the end of Chapter One in Paper Mario. Their main attack is jumping on top of each other and doing a special tornado spin, which has an attack of four. Like other types of Koopas, they will not attack a full turn if flipped over on their shells. Their attack also decreases by one each time one of them is defeated. After Mario and his pals defeat all four of them, they fall down their castle into one of the prison cells, seemingly trapped forever. Towards the end of the game, Mario encounters them again, only to see them be defeated by Jr. Troopa in mere seconds. They have a distinctive high-pitched, squeaky voice. But however in the letter, they talk hoarsely.

Some characters in Paper Mario say that the Koopa Bros. originally lived in Koopa Village, around the same time Kent C. Koopa lived there.

Chapter 1Edit

They are the first bosses in the game. They guard the Star Spirit, Eldstar. After their defeat, they are locked in a dungeon. The same one they locked Bob-ombs in. They also created Bowser???.

Chapter 8Edit

As Mario is in the last room of Bowser's Castle, the door requests Mario to fight the Koopa Bros. But Jr. Troopa arrives and Mario defeats him.

The Koopa Bros. are seen in the ending credits to give the player a thumbs up, before some Bob-ombs blow them up.

Voice PortrayalsEdit

Cheyenne Jackson has been voicing all the Koopa Brothers.

  • After the The Koopa Bros. are defeated in Chapter 1, they can still be seen in the cell that Mario and the Bob-omb buddies used to be held in. After the player proceeds on to the Chapter 2 and revisits this area, they'll no longer be seen until very final Chapter.
  • The Koopa Bros. seem to be a reference to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, both are turtles and wear Ninja masks, even wearing similar colors to the Ninja Turtles, such as the Black, Yellow, and Red Ninjakoopas very slightly resembling Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
