Pit of 100 Trials

The Pit of 100 Trials is a side quest in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario.

In Paper Mario TTYD you must go through all 100 levels and every 10 rooms there is a one way pipe leading back to the top, a guy selling items, and a treasure chest containing a badge. On the 100th floor you must face Bonetail, arguably the hardest boss in the game, with 200 HP.

In Super Paper Mario there are two Pits of 100 Trials, one in Flipside, and one in Flopside. Again, you get a break every 10 rooms, but this time, instead of getting Badges, there is a one way pipe leading back to the top, a Catch Card about a pixl or a character. These are called character cards.

If you switch into 3D, you will drop back down to the bottom of the room (NOT ENTIRE PIT), this is usefull if you are trapped by an enemy or want to start that room earlier.
