The Spin Jump is a technique in Paper Mario, Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door, and Paper Mario: Color Splash. It involves Mario jumping while spinning, usually letting him stomp downward to attack or flip panels over.

In Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, the Spin Jump is learned once Mario obtains the Super Boots. Pressing A midjump will cause him to stop his momentum and slam downward while spinning. It allows him to destroy crates or flip over panels that contain Star Pieces. In battle, it improves Mario's jump attack power by 1, and in the latter, also allows him to use the stronger Spin Jump technique as an ability.

In Paper Mario: Color Splash, Spin Jump is a Battle Card that can be first obtained in Marmalade Valley. When used, Mario jumps above an enemy and starts to spin in place, charging up. When A is pressed, he slams down for one strong jump, causing a shockwave that hits nearby enemies as well. The damage increases based on when A is pressed.
