The Sunset Express is a level and train from Paper Mario: Color Splash. The train is first seen in the Toad Trainworks, and Mario helps repair it there. As the locomotive continues moving through the Orange Region, it is eventually hijacked by Larry Koopa at a rest stop near the Tangerino Grill while Mario is busy trying to move a Big Thwomp that is in the way. Mario must get it back before Larry reaches the Starlight Cape. The level set on the Sunset Express follows Mario making his way through several train cars, fighting Larry's minions along the way. Most of the Red Rescure Squad is also found here. Eventually Mario reaches the the front of the train, and defeats Larry. The Express makes it to its destination safely, and Mario is able to successfully obtain the Orange Big Paint Star.
